our sponsored child

This is Ellis

She is 6 years old.
She lives with her grandma (along with 4 other siblings).
Her closest source of water is 6 miles away
[and described as a "swamp"].
Her house is made of mud and sticks and grass.

Over Christmas,
our students involved in Fellowship Student Ministry
raised money (LOTS)
so they could sponsor a child through Amazima.
[not only did they raise enough for sponsorship ($300)
but they raised even more (!), that we were able to donate to the ministry].

By sponsoring Ellis,
she will be provided with:
-3 meals a day
-education at a Christian school
-school supplies and uniform
-medical care
-Christian discipleship
-Spiritual growth activities for their families and/or guardians

best of all?
since i'll be in Uganda soon
(9 days!)
i will get to MEET Ellis -
face to face!

and plan on bringing lots of letters and pictures
from our students
made especially for her.

showing her that she is loved and prayed for
by dozens of people
from halfway 'round the world

i pray that
she'll be so blessed
by our partneship.
but i can't wait to see
how our investing in her
changes OUR lives
more than anything.

wanna sponsor a kid
for $25 a month
and change a life?
